They constantly interrupt and correct Jeff whilst he attempts to perform and explain the effect. On this DVD the pair really are at their very worst. My main criticism of the DVD is reserved for our old friends Craig Petty & David Penn. Overall, a simple but highly visual T&R that will bring strong reactions. However, this is overcome by an alternative version where the handling is a direct repeat of that used in Torched & Restored by Brent Braun – it is though highly effective and again simple to perform. The only downside being that in one of the handlings explained by Jeff the card has to be placed into a pocket and then taken back out before it can be restored. Most certainly can’t be performed surrounded but how many T&R effects can? I would hazard an educated guess you will not have to many issues with the angles overall. Not too sure about the angles as I am yet to perform this in the real world. Also a number of simple and straight forward forces are explained and performed. The DVD shows a number of different handlings which I have to say are all good. With a small amount of practice it not very difficult at all.

The good news is that this move can also be performed under full cover of the gimmick without to many worries. It is truly virtually self-working with the main and most important move shown and taught repeatedly from different angles. The moves to tear the corner of the card and restore it are taught clearly. The crafting of the gimmick is simplicity itself and takes about 5 seconds. The effect uses a self made gimmick and a number of moves / folds which most certainly have their genesis elsewhere (Brent Braun’s Torched & Restored effect for certain being one of them) The card can then be handed out for full and complete inspection and scrutiny.

The torn corner is then visually completely restored. The performer then initials the card in one corner and then tears it off fully and cleanly directly in front of the spectator. The performer takes a card which can be signed by the spectator. Overall a very visual, neat and crafty T&R! You’ll have instant access whenever its needed so there won’t be anything holding you back from spending all of those hard-earned virtual bucks on whatever deserves them.Picked this up the other day after seeing it advertised and promo’d on the World Magic Store / Wizard FX sites. This means you don’t need to go through some convoluted process in order to convert your bitcoins when they’re time comes around–you just use this one little thing! There are several cards to choose from that functions as an online debit card that can be used at any merchant with traditional credit or debit cards. So, a bitcoin payment card is kind of like the holy grail for those who want to spend their coins.
